Sometimes what we perceive as laziness, in ourselves or in others, isn't laziness at all, but rather a reaction to deep-seated fears or emotions. Other times, it arises from lack of initiative, as a reaction to feeling we have to do things we don't want to, exhaustion, or even lack of inspiration. Whatever its root cause, healing laziness comes from finding the motivation and initiative to be an active participant in life instead of a passive one.
CALCITE - A stone that amplifies energy, so it can help you overcome inaction or laziness. While you can use any colour calcite, orange calcite is a particularly good stone for spurring you to action. Upon awakening in the morning, sit with a piece of calcite in your receiving hand, repeating the mantra for 10 minutes or until you feel energised.
RAINBOW FLUORITE - If laziness or procrastination at work is an issue, try making a simple triangular grid, which can help you focus your energy and spur you to action.
MEDITATION - Sit or lie comfortably, repeating the mantra to yourself. Visualise yourself taking action on things that you have resisted, allowing the visualisation to carry through to the results of having taken action. Visualise the specific outcomes you would like to see, noting your feelings of accomplishment and joy. Continue your meditation for at least 10 minutes.
